Building Compassion in Early Childhood: Think Equal Launches in Ballarat

Compassionate Ballarat is proud to support a new initiative helping to build a more compassionate future - starting with our youngest community members.


In March, the Think Equal pilot program was launched in Ballarat by Think Equal's Australian Country Director, Emma Welsh. The program aligns strongly with Compassionate Ballarat’s commitment to fostering kindness, inclusion and connection across our community. We are grateful for Emma’s support in bringing this important work to Ballarat.


Working in partnership with the City of Ballarat, the program will support children at Vickers Street Kindergarten and Girrabanya Children’s Centre to build emotional awareness, resilience and a sense of belonging.


By nurturing compassion from an early age, we are helping to shape a more connected and caring Ballarat for the future.
